Central Dynamics Laboratories of Canada built several computer controlled editors, including the PEC-102 (pictured), and the EDM-1 for Ampex.

The group of buttons to the left of the display are "Edit List" controls (Save, Load, etc.). The display provides the typical editor status information, and uses the "<ญญญ>" lines to provide a graphical display of the edit to be preformed. The controls to the right of the display regulate the monitor brightness and contrast.

On the keyboard, the top left hand group are transport controls for each VTR (Play, Fast Forward, Stop, ...). The lower left group is labeled "Mode" (Split, Wipe, etc.). The next group of controls are labeled "Functions" (Video, Audio Channels, Start, Stop, etc.). And the right hand group of controls are labeled "Display" (cursor controls, numeric entry keys, etc.).
